Safe and Sound Protocol at Lonely Mountain Therapy
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a gentle, evidence-based listening intervention designed to support the nervous system and help people feel safer, calmer, and more connected. It’s based on Polyvagal Theory and uses specially filtered music to promote emotional regulation and reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and sensory sensitivity.
At Lonely Mountain Therapy, SSP is available for children, teens, and adults. I offer it in person at my office in Fort Collins, remotely via Zoom telehealth, hybrid or along with Walk and Talk Therapy. Whether you’re navigating challenges related to neurodiversity, anxiety, or low mood, SSP can help create the foundation for lasting change.

A Note on Pricing and Quality of Care
I offer is deeply attuned, trauma-informed, and holistic support for children, teens, and adults navigating complex experiences like ADHD, autism, trauma, anxiety, depression, and severe or persistent mental health challenges.
While I work toward making therapy more accessible, especially for those with inconsistent income or who often fall through the cracks of traditional care systems, I also believe that quality of care should never be compromised.
